Welcome, Massage Therapists! How has amta been your voice?

Welcome, Massage Therapists! This is the place to connect with members of the amta community and discuss how amta has given you a voice. After all, we are your association and here to support you. Share your story. We’re excited to hear what you have to say!

Xerlan Geiser-Deery of Tulsa, Oklahoma views amta as her voice because of “National Convention! State Chapter Meetings! Mentoring! It is all good!”

At amta, our goal is to provide you with every possible opportunity to build long-term success. Take advantage of amta’s many member benefits including:

amta’s National Convention, which provides attendees with over 40 hours of world class continuing education, the chance to network with thought leaders in massage therapy, and access to the most extensive exhibit hall in the profession. This year we are in Portland, OR on October 19–22. In 2012, we will be in Raleigh, NC on October 3–6.

Join one of amta’s 51 chapters and find out how your amta state chapter can help support your career through a variety of local networking, continuing education
and professional development opportunities.

Like Xerlan, we want to hear from you. Tell us your story! How has amta been
your voice? You may see your story featured here! All submissions will be automatically entered into a raffle for some great prizes! Share your story today at yourvoice@amtamassage.org.

  1. Great to see this blog!

  2. Brenda Schuck says:

I am glad to serve the Pa chapter members and it is great to be part of the AMTA family!
Meeting members from across the state and sharing personal stories has opened up a world for me beyond my own backyard! I can go online, read the magazine, visit convention and work with chapter presidents, all to benefit massage therapists, and ME!!
Thanks AMTA for helping me grow up and be able to see the world through different eyes!
